Sankofa Educational Excursions (SEE) has a mission to expose youth and young adults from underserved communities to global travel through cultural enrichment and service. Following the legacy of the organization's visionary, Kimberly R. Willis Gangier, we aim to change the world. Kimberly traveled to six of the seven continents, excluding Australia. In honor of Kimberly, Australia will be SEE's first excursion.
About Our Foundation
Established in Los Angeles, CA., 2022, Sankofa Educational Excursions (SEE) was inspired by the lifelong traveling of Mrs. Kimberly Rachel Willis Gagnier. Kimberly created SEE as a fundamental pathway to share her devotion to serving young people. Her desire to share what she gleaned from her travels led her to create Sankofa Educational Excursions. She wanted young people to have the opportunity to SEE the world, experience diverse cultures, and thereby expand their horizons.
